Welcome to My People in Diaspora...

I am so excited to finally have my blog page. This has taken two long years in the making to eventually happen. A lot of daydreaming, procrastinating, and wishful thinking that didn't really go anywhere.I love writing and I wanted to create a blog where I can share with you, my readers, life's unpredictable ebbs and flows and also include my experiences, joys, passions, opinions, and celebrations for everything and anything African and Africa-related.

This is a blog written by an African for Africans where the content is mainly to educate you and me, trade African information, share home truths and be aware of our environment as the expression from my country goes, 'shine your eyes.' My People in Diaspora, Talk Your Truth has added such value to my life and I love having the opportunity to share my experiences and insights with my readers. I am also looking forward to reading your comments, stories or just drop by.

I can't do this alone and we all know the saying, 'it takes a village.' I would love to engage with all my beautiful tribes out there and let's go on this beautiful journey together. Now that you have an idea of what my blog page is all about, let me give a short bio about myself. First of all, I have been fearfully and wonderfully created, a mum to three adoring kids, wife to a typical African man, and sister to three siblings. I live in Dublin, Ireland, and I work in a public library for a local authority.

I started My People in Diaspora with the goal of offering readers a glimpse into my thoughts and experiences. This is a site I hope will be packed with information about various topics that are near and dear to me. Take some time to explore my blog and see for yourself what makes you curious and eager. Read on and enjoy and don't forget to leave a comment!
